Comfy Cool Luxurious Bamboo PJs

Have you heard of clothing made from organic bamboo? It is the most comfortable fabric, comparing to silk in feel, but better because it can be thrown into the washing machine and dryer. It is friendlier to the environment in many many ways from the way it grows, to putting more oxygen into the air than it's cotton competitor. Well NursingPjs.com has a ton of new stylish, nursing pajamas , undies, bras, nursing pads and more made from this luxurious bamboo fabric. Nursing Pads are especially better in bamboo because of the greater absorbency the fabric. Not to mention, bamboo can easily be grown organically as opposed to the toxic pesticides used to grow most cotton. Come visit us and check out all the new nursing apparel we have to offer!

Going on Vacation while Nursing? Happy Nursing Travels!

Vacationing while nursing is very easy and convenient if you prepare yourself. You will need a few essentials in order to make it all go smoothly, but all in all, nursing over bottle feeding makes the travel EASIER! Yes I said easier. Nursing your baby as a plane takes off and lands is not only calming to an infant who may be a bit afraid of the new experience, but also the swallowing helps to ease the pressure on his ears. The milk is already special made for him and it's already the right temperature! Now if you only had a way to discreetly get it in his mouth....this is where the essential nursing apparel comes into play. With a nursing bra, a nursing cover and a nursing top , your plane ride, train ride, boat ride, night out at a restaurant, lunch at the pool is simply a breeze! Now you may want to add a nursing swimsuit to that list if you plan on getting tan. Visit NursingPjs.com and get the essential items for your vacation now! Little tip: I took my nursing pillow with me as well. It made a nice sleeping spot for my son (he was 4 months old when we vacationed in Key West) on my lap on the plane. It was also very nice to have it for all of his night time feedings. I made do without it while we were out and about though. Just an extra luxury item...not necessary though. Happy Nursing Travels!

What do you think?

Have you seen the article in Time Magazine yet about a growing group of mothers who prefer to "exclusively pump"? These mothers have decided for various reasons that they would rather pump and bottle feed than put their infants to the breast. Seems there are varying opinions on whether this is as beneficial as actually feeding from the breast. For example, breast feeding trains the infant to eat the appropriate amounts at feeding times and only eat until they are full, which decreases the risk of obesity later in life. The potential problem with this when "exclusively pumping" is that the infant eats the whole bottle every time and therefore eliminates that early training of portion control in the infant's eating habits. Every nursing mother, whether exclusively pumping or traditionally breastfeeding on the breast, needs certain tools of the trade.
